The Lord almighty grant us a quiet night and peace at the last.
Amen.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
To sing praise to your name, O Most High.

To herald your love in the morning,
And your truth at the close of the day.

Let us confess our sin in the presence of God and one another.
Holy and gracious God, I confess I have sinned against you this day. Some of my sin I know – the thoughts and words and deeds of which I am ashamed – but some is known only to you. In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask for forgiveness. Deliver me, restore me, renew my spirit as I return to the Lord with all my heart, as I live anew in the power of your grace alone in Jesus Christ.

By God’s mercy we are united with Jesus Christ, and in the power of God’s grace alone, we are forgiven. We rest now in his peace, and rise each new morning to serve the Lord of life. Let us pray.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend our spirits. You have redeemed us in grace alone. Hear our prayer and listen to our cry which comes before you. Keep us as the apple of your eye, hide us in the shadow of your wings. In righteousness we will see you; when we awake, your presence will give us joy. We ask you, merciful God, be present and protect us through the hours of this night, so we might find rest and truth in you and your grace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Change my heart, O God,
Make it ever true.
Change my heart, O God,
May I be like You.

You are the Potter,
I am the clay.
Mold me and make me;
This is what I pray.

Change my heart, O God,
Make it ever true.
Change my heart, O God,
May I be like You.

04Psalm.png

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! …. When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established; what are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? Yet you have made them a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor. You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet, ... O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth.

05Gospel.png

The Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple he found people selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and the money-changers seated at their tables. Making a whip of cords, he drove all of them out of the temple, both the sheep and the cattle. He also poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. He told those who were selling the doves, “Take these things out of here! Stop making my Father’s house a marketplace!” His disciples remembered that it had been written, “Zeal for your house will consume me.” The Jews then said to him, “What sign can you show us for doing this?” Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews then said, “This temple has been under construction for forty-six years, and will you raise it up in three days?” But he was speaking of the temple of his body. After he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this; and they believed the scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.

All who are thirsty,
All who are weak,
Come to the fountain.
Dip your heart in the
Stream of life.
Let the pain and the sorrow
Be wash’d away
In the waves of His mercy
As deep cries
Out to deep. We sing:

Come, Lord Jesus, come.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.
Come, Lord Jesus, come.

As God’s people, as we return to The Lord with all our heart, to trust anew in God’s grace alone, let us pray for the needs of all God’s people.

... as we pray to you, Jesus,

The Spirit, intercedes for us,
With sighs too deep
For words to express,
Oh, oh, oh, ...

All these things and whatever else you see we need, grant to us we pray, for the sake of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who taught us to boldly pray these words:

16LordsPrayer.png

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
Forever and ever. Amen.

09StrengthenedToLive.png

Guard us in our sleeping tonight, O Lord, guide us in our waking, and awaken us that we might be your faithful and devoted disciples as we make you, our God, and our neighbors, first in our lives.

Lord, now let your servant go in peace; your word has been fulfilled. My own eyes have seen your salvation which you have prepared in the sight of all people; a light to reveal you to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel. Glory be to The Father, and to The Son, and to The Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.

Friends, take hold of the power of God’s grace alone. Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, bless you this night and all your days, for you are alive and anew in the grace of Jesus Christ.

Amen.

Soon and very soon,
We are goin’ to see the King,
Soon and very soon,
We are goin’ to see the King,
Soon and very soon,
We are goin’ to see the King.
Hallelujah, hallelujah,
We’re goin’ to see the King!

No more cryin’ there;
We are goin’ to see the King,
No more dyin’ there;
We are goin’ to see the King,
Soon and very soon,
We are goin’ to see the King.
Hallelujah, hallelujah,
We’re goin’ to see the King!
Hallelujah, hallelujah,
Hallelujah, hallelujah.
