Midweek - Online Worship - March 24, 2021
The Lord almighty grant us a quiet night and peace at the last.
Amen.
It is good to give thanks to the Lord,
To sing praise to your name, O Most High.
To herald your love in the morning,
And your truth at the close of the day.
Let us confess our sin in the presence of God and one another.
Holy and gracious God, I confess I have sinned against you this day. Some of my sin I know – the thoughts and words and deeds of which I am ashamed – but some is known only to you. In the name of Jesus Christ, I ask for forgiveness. Deliver me, restore me, renew my spirit as I return to the Lord with all my heart, as I live anew in the power of your grace alone in Jesus Christ.
By God’s mercy we are united with Jesus Christ, and in the power of God’s grace alone, we are forgiven. We rest now in his peace, and rise each new morning to serve the Lord of life. Let us pray.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend our spirits. You have redeemed us in grace alone. Hear our prayer and listen to our cry which comes before you. Keep us as the apple of your eye, hide us in the shadow of your wings. In righteousness we will see you; when we awake, your presence will give us joy. We ask you, merciful God, be present and protect us through the hours of this night, so we might find rest and truth in you and your grace. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
He who began a good work in you,
He who began a good work in you,
Will be faithful to complete it,
He’ll be faithful to complete it;
He who started the work,
Will be faithful to complete it in you.
(repeat)
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul. He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff – they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.
(New Revised Standard Version)
Now among those who went up to worship at the festival were some Greeks. They came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and said to him, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” Philip went and told Andrew; then Andrew and Philip went and told Jesus. Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Very truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Those who love their life lose it, and those who hate their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there will my servant be also. Whoever serves me, the Father will honor. Now my soul is troubled. And what should I say – “Father, save me from this hour”? No, it is for this reason that I have come to this hour. Father; glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.” The crowd standing there heard it and said that it was thunder. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.” Jesus answered, “This voice has come for your sake, not for mine. Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be driven out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” He said this to indicate the kind of death he was to die.

Worthy,
You are worthy,
King of kings,
Lord of lords,
You are worthy;
Worthy,
You are worthy,
King of kings,
Lord of lords,
I worship You.
Holy,
You are holy,
King of kings,
Lord of lords,
You are holy;
Holy,
You are holy,
King of kings,
Lord of lords,
I worship You.
Jesus,
You are Jesus,
King of kings,
Lord of lords,
You are Jesus;
Jesus,
You are Jesus,
King of kings,
Lord of lords,
I worship You.
As God’s people, as we return to The Lord with all our heart, to trust anew in God’s grace alone, let us pray for the needs of all God’s people.
... as we pray to you, Jesus,
The Spirit,
Intercedes for us,
With sighs too deep
For words to express,
Oh, oh, oh, ...
All these things and whatever else you see we need, grant to us we pray, for the sake of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who taught us to boldly pray these words:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
Forever and ever. Amen.
Guard us in our sleeping tonight, O Lord, guide us in our waking, and awaken us that we might be your faithful and devoted disciples as we make you, our God, and our neighbors, first in our lives.
Lord, now let your servant go in peace; your word has been fulfilled. My own eyes have seen your salvation which you have prepared in the sight of all people; a light to reveal you to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel. Glory be to The Father, and to The Son, and to The Holy Spirit; as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be forever. Amen.
Friends, take hold of the power of God’s grace alone. Almighty God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, bless you this night and all your days, for you are alive and anew in the grace of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
refrain:
There is none like You,
No one else
Can touch my heart like You do;
I could search
For all eternity long and find
There is none like You.
(repeat)
vs. 1
Your mercy flows like a river wide
And healing comes from Your hands;
Suffering children are safe in Your arms,
There is none like You.
(refrain)
