Worshiping With Us During the Pandemic

As we follow the latest information and recommendations regarding gatherings, please join us in doing everything possible for the health of one and all! Please stay home, if you do not feel well, if you or someone close to you has been exposed, if you or someone close to you has been tested. We will keep you informed with further updates!

Thanks be to God for those who have given their time and leadership as we worship in our sanctuary, and as we together do everything possible to honor, serve, & care for one and all!

You will find more details below, including signing up for worship, signing up to volunteer, what to expect, and children's activity sheets. You can also access these details on our website and on our Facebook page!

Worship each Sunday will be a 30-minute service including live music by our worship leaders, a children's message, and a message from Pastor Jamie. Holy Communion will be offered as the service ends. If you prefer, if your timing is better, from 10:15-10:30 a.m., you are invited to drive up to the curb of the sidewalk in front of the building, and receive Holy Communion in your vehicle.

Each Sunday we will make every attempt to live stream the service for you, beginning at 9:25 a.m.

We hope you join us for worship! We look forward to seeing you soon!

"I was there to hear your borning cry,
I'll be there when you are old.
I rejoiced the day you were baptized,
To see your life unfold.
I was there when you were but a child,
With a faith to suit you well;
In a blaze of light you wondered off,
To find where demons dwell."

For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
— 1 Corinthians 1:18

Halfway points offer a variety of meanings, expectations, emotions, and opportunities. Halfway points can leave us thinking, we are almost there, we are on the downhill slide, it is time to get by, it is time to finish strong, it is time to re-energize, it is time to find what it takes, it is time to make adjustments.

Today is Lent Day 21. Lent has 40 days. Today marks the first day of the second half. The halfway point has come and gone. Are you thinking, we are on the downhill slide, or are you thinking, it is time to make adjustments, to finish strong?

To many, the cross may seem foolish, and yet Jesus came to finish strong what God in grace had begun. During Lent, every day of life, for all eternity, trust The One who was there to hear your borning cry will do whatever it takes, will forever be present, will save you with the power of God.

Let us pray: Jesus, I ask you for your help and grace at this halfway point in my Lenten journey. As the second half of the Lenten season begins, do not let me slide. As you once heard my borning cry, send me your Holy Spirit. In your grace alone, hear me cry out now, and make every adjustment in my spirit to finish strong. In your name, I am saved in your truth and grace, and I pray. Amen.
