Sunday, June 23 – The Fifth Sunday After Pentecost – “The Rush Of The Wind Calms Every Storm!"
Join us on Sunday, June 23, 2024, as we gather for the Fifth Sunday After Pentecost and a special communion service in the Memorial Garden. This Sunday, we contemplate the theme "The Rush Of The Wind Calms Every Storm!" as we reflect on Mark 4:35-41.
In this passage, we encounter the story of Jesus calming the storm, reminding us that like the disciples, we often find ourselves in the midst of life's storms. Yet, we can trust in The One who rushes to our side, bringing calm and peace in the midst of chaos. Just as Jesus calmed the winds and waves, He also brings tranquility to our turbulent lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.
This Sunday's service offers a sacred time of communion in the serene setting of the Memorial Garden, where we can experience the calming presence of Christ in the beauty of nature.
