Today we are excited to confirm:
Brayden Herzberg
We fall down
We lay our crowns
At the feet of Jesus
The greatness of
Mercy and love
At the feet of Jesus
And we cry
Holy holy holy
And we cry
Holy holy holy
And we cry
Holy holy holy
Is the Lamb
(repeat)
vs 1
Holy holy holy
Lord God Almighty
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to thee
Holy holy holy
Merciful and mighty
God in three persons
Blessed Trinity
We fall down
We lay our crowns
At the feet of Jesus
The greatness of
Mercy and love
At the feet of Jesus
And we cry
Holy holy holy
And we cry
Holy holy holy
And we cry
Holy holy holy
Is the Lamb
Today we celebrate and affirm all our God and King graciously give us in glory and grace; we fall down and lay our crowns before the One we confirm is holy, so we worship in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Spirit.
Amen.
People of God: In his hands are the depths of the sea, the heights of the hills are also his. Let us take a moment of silence to confess our sins and the times we have failed to affirm and to trust the glory and grace of Christ our King.
(silence for reflection)
All creatures of our God and King; receive with faith the glory and grace of The One who reigns: Jesus saves; Jesus forgives you all your sins. Give thanks and confirm once again; our God is a great God, a great King above all gods!
vs 1
All creatures of our God and King
Lift up your voice with us and sing
Alleluia Alleluia
O burning sun with golden beam
And silver moon with softer gleam
refrain:
Oh praise him
Oh praise him
Alleluia alleluia alleluia
Friends in Christ: He is our God, and a great King; and we are the people of his pasture, the sheep of his hand. Let us believe and see we are blessed, to hear his call, to join his mission, to forever affirm the Lord of our life: Oh, praise Him!
vs 7
Let all things their Creator bless
And worship God in humbleness
Oh praise him Alleluia
Oh praise the Father Praise the Son
And praise the Spirit Three in One
refrain:
Oh praise him
Oh praise him
Alleluia alleluia alleluia
Loving God, you provide us with every good gift sent from heaven above. We give you thanks, you watch over us, you restore each of us and your kingdom, through your Son, the King of all creation. Though we are divided by sin, you confirm us and bless us, to hear your call, to join in your mission, to affirm our net worth is your grace alone, and you unite us, thanks to the One who is Lord of heaven and earth. By your Holy Spirit, renew us to believe and to see the reign of your glory and grace. In the name of Christ the King, we pray. Amen.
Then Pilate entered the headquarters again, summoned Jesus, and asked him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” Jesus answered, “Do you ask this on your own, or did others tell you about me?” Pilate replied, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests have handed you over to me. What have you done?” Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not from this world. If my kingdom were from this world, my followers would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here.” Pilate asked him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice.”
(New Revised Standard Version)
God has blessed God’s people with faith from the beginning of time. Long ago witnesses affirmed and confirmed all good gifts sent in Jesus’ glory and grace were sufficient for the Hebrew Christians considering returning to Judaism. Let us share our faith using these same words.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Indeed, by faith our ancestors received approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible. ...Without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would approach him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. ...Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the sake of the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God. Amen.
How many kings do you know? Do you know any? Do you know any kings, personally? What makes someone a king? Their position? Their power? A king is someone who rules or reigns over a people or region, therefore he has great power, and great responsibility. In some cases, the position of king is passed down, from one generation to another. While being king is a great honor, the position is best fulfilled by those who honor their calling with great wisdom and insight. In those lands ruled by kings, it is a great honor to know the king, to be known, recognized, by the king. In Mark’s Gospel today, Jesus Christ our King makes it clear, his Kingdom is not of this world. As we celebrate Christ The King Sunday, let us celebrate and affirm and give all thanks to God, for we know The King personally, and the King affirms each of us, and we are known personally by The King and recognized by The King, and we live in the Kingdom of glory and grace forever!
1. Christ The King is faithful, fulfilling the great honor, answering the call to serve rather than to be served.
A. Christ The King is all powerful, The Almighty is All Mighty!
B. Christ The King reigns over one and all!
C. Christ The King reigns from eternity for eternity!
D. Christ The King reigns with wisdom and insight!
E. Christ The King reigns over a people and a region!
F. Christ The King honors the call to know and to recognize and to affirm and to save, every member of the Kingdom!
2. As we celebrate Christ The King Sunday: Affirm and confirm, give all thanks and praise to God; we know The King personally, we are known, affirmed, blessed and recognized personally by The King, and we live in the Kingdom of glory and grace forever!
A Few Affirming And Confirming Thoughts From One Who, Like Each Of Us, God Confirms Each & Every Day – Sunday, November 21, 2021
Brayden – It is comforting to know Jesus is always watching over me and guiding me throughout my life to make the right choices and to lead me down the right path. … If I did not have Jesus in my life, I would be missing guidance and forgiveness. Jesus guides me in every decision I make in life and helps me become a better person. Jesus only has love and compassion for us and I don’t know what life would be like without that. Jesus doesn’t care who you are or what you’ve done, he loves everybody the same. … Jesus is our Savior who gave his life on the cross so we could have eternal life. In a relationship with Jesus there is a shared trust and love between you and Jesus, you both love each other unconditionally, you trust each other and trust that Jesus always has our back and is always helping us along our path in life. Jesus is special to me because he represents the unconditional love, kindness and forgiveness everyone should have as they go about their daily lives.

vs 1
Crown Him with many crowns
The Lamb upon His throne
Hark how the heav’nly anthem drowns
All music but its own
Awake my soul and sing
Of Him who died for me
And hail Him as thy matchless King
Through all eternity
refrain:
Majesty
Lord of all
Let ev’ry throne
Before Him fall
The King of kings
O come adore
Our God who reigns
Forevermore
vs 2
Crown Him the Lord of life
Who triumphed o’er the grave
And rose victorious in the strife
For those He came to save
His glories now we sing
Who died and rose on high
Who died eternal life to bring
And lives that death may die
(refrain)
Forevermore
All Hail Redeemer Hail
For He has died for me
His praise and glory shall not fail
Throughout eternity
All Hail Redeemer Hail
For He has died for me
His praise and glory shall not fail

... As we pray, Jesus, ...
Affirm us in your Spirit and grace.
Into your hands, O Lord, we commend all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy, through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Holy Communion will take place after the closing Benediction. If you are not worshipping with us in person but would like to receive Communion, we will be offering Drive Through Communion at our building at 16200 Dodd Lane, Lakeville, Minnesota, following our indoor service. Drive Through Communion will be available between 10:15am & 10:30am.
In order to better serve you in this troubling times, the way we receive Communion has changed slightly. You will be offered a self-contained Communion serving. Each capsule has two layers. The first layer is a thin, clear, cellophane layer which reveals the host. Under the second layer you will find the alcohol free juice. Volunteers will be happy to take you waste after you receive Communion.
In the night in which he was betrayed our Lord Jesus took bread and gave thanks; broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat, this is my body, given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me.” Again, after supper, he took the cup, gave thanks, and gave it for all to drink, saying: “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, shed for you and for all people for the forgiveness of sin. Do this for the remembrance of me.”
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
Forever and ever. Amen.
Where You go I’ll go

The body and blood of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, strengthen you and keep you in his grace, this day, and on into life everlasting.
Amen.
Let us pray.
Almighty God, you gave your Son both as a sacrifice for sin and a model of the godly life. Enable us to receive him always with thanksgiving, and to conform our lives to his, through Jesus Christ, the Lord of life. Amen.
The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you. The Lord look upon you with favor and give you peace, as you give thanks and affirm God’s glory and grace in Christ our King! In the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Let us go in the peace of Christ, celebrating and confirming the love of God, and serving the Lord of life.
Thanks be to God!
