What wondrous love is this
O my soul O my soul
What wondrous love is this O my soul
What wondrous love is this
That caused the Lord of bliss
To bear the dreadful curse
For my soul for my soul
To bear the dreadful curse for my soul

When I was sinking down
Sinking down sinking down
When I was sinking down sinking down
When I was sinking down
Beneath God's righteous frown
Christ laid aside his crown
For my soul for my soul
Christ laid aside his crown for my soul

I press on toward the goal for the prize
of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.
— Philippians 3:14

Chances are we each have had to reorganize and reprioritize at times. 'What goes where?' 'I have to get that done.' 'How will I fit that in?' Budgets get reviewed. Schedules are juggled. Goals get realigned. We move this to make room for that.

How are you at reprioritizing your priorities, your heart? What needs reviewing, juggling? Where does God go? What needs getting done in your spiritual walk? How do you fit Jesus in? How do you keep your heart on The One who has his heart on you? Is Jesus your number one goal, your prize, your calling?

Holy Week begins tomorrow. The message, the promise, the power of this week of grace in Jerusalem is this truth: You are at the top of Jesus' priority list! God in grace has never had to reprioritize, because you and each of God's children have always been God's number one goal! God forever keeps his heart on you! What wondrous love is this, o my soul, even when we are sinking down, we are at the top of God's list, today, this week, forever and ever.

Let us pray: Jesus, keep your heart on me. By your Holy Spirit, help me move you to the top of the list, to be faithful to you. On my own, you would not be what I press on for, my goals would be elsewhere. Bless me with a heart so driven this coming Holy Week, that your wondrous love would bless my soul, and grace me to believe, to forever press on to make you and others first in my life. In Christ alone, I pray and I press on. Amen.
