Maundy Thursday, March 28 – “Loved In Grace Alone!”
Join us on Maundy Thursday, March 28th, at 7 p.m. for a special worship service centered around the theme "Loved In Grace Alone!" as we observe this sacred day in Holy Week. We will reflect on the profound message of John 13:1-17, 31b-35.
In this passage, Jesus shares the last supper with His disciples, washes their feet, and gives them a new commandment: 'love one another as I have loved you.' As we return to The One who is gracious and merciful, with all our hearts, we are called to love one another as we are first loved by The One who blesses us, experiencing new life and salvation anew in grace alone!
This service will also include the first communion of this year's first communion students. They will receive their first communion during tonight's service, just as Jesus washed the feet of his disciples in the reading of tonight's gospel, symbolizing humility, service, and the sacrificial love of Christ.
All are welcome to join us as we gather to commemorate this significant moment in the life of Jesus and His disciples, experiencing the boundless love and grace of our Savior.
We look forward to worshiping with you!
