Sunday, September 29 – Confirmation Sunday …. The Nineteenth Sunday After Pentecost – “Confirmed Each And Every Day”

Join us on Sunday, September 29, 2024, for Confirmation Sunday and the Nineteenth Sunday After Pentecost as we continue our Early Fall Pentecost Worship Theme: “Celebrating All God Is, In The Grace Of Jesus Christ.” This Sunday, we celebrate the theme “Confirmed Each And Every Day” with readings from Numbers 11:4-6, 10-16, 24-29; James 5:13-20; Mark 9:38-50.

In these passages, we hear Jesus' teachings on being the salt of the earth and the importance of spiritual nourishment. As we share The Rite of Confirmation and The Affirmation of Our Baptism, we are reminded that God confirms and affirms us each and every day in the saving, transforming, blessed grace of Jesus Christ.

This Sunday's service emphasizes the continuous confirmation and affirmation we receive from God, encouraging us to embrace our faith journey with vigor and gratitude.
