This Sunday, we celebrate the Transfiguration of Our Lord, reflecting on the miraculous transformation of Jesus on the mountaintop. As we hear this story, we are reminded that this change is just the beginning of God’s ongoing work of transformation in our lives, treasuring us as His beloved children.

• Scripture Reflections:

  • Exodus 34:29-35: Moses’ face shines with the glory of God as he descends from Mount Sinai.

  • 2 Corinthians 3:12-4:2: Paul speaks of the unveiled glory of God transforming us into His likeness.

  • Luke 9:28-36: Jesus is transfigured, His glory revealed, and God’s voice proclaims, “This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to Him!”

• Uplifting Worship: Celebrate the glory and grace of God through music and prayer.

• Message from Pastor Jamie: Reflect on how God treasures us and transforms us through His grace, calling us to new beginnings in faith and purpose.

• Holy Communion: Share in the bread and wine as we are nourished and renewed in Christ’s love.
