All, glory, laud, and honor
To you, Redeemer, King,
To whom the lips of children,
Made sweet hosannas ring.

You are the King of Israel,
And David's royal Son,
Now in the Lord's name coming,
Our King and Blessed One.

When they had come near Jerusalem and had reached Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, “Go into the village ahead of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to me. If anyone says anything to you, just say this, ‘The Lord needs them.’ And he will send them immediately.
— Matthew 21:1-3

"If anyone says anything to you, just say this, 'The Lord needs them.'"

What could The Lord possibly need? What could The Lord possibly need this week? Could The Lord possibly need a donkey, the 'Hosannas,' the palms, the foot-washing, the Communion, the garden, the betrayal, the kiss, the arrest, the denial, the trial, the shouts, the crown, the whipping, the nails, the crowd, the seven last words, the last breath, the tomb?

The Lord needs it all.

The Lord needs one more thing to bring Him glory, laud and honor.

The Lord needs you this week. Could The Lord really need you?

Please do not think this week, please do not think salvation, please do not think grace, please do not think the crucifixion and the resurrection are for everyone except you, as if The Lord needs everyone but you!

In grace alone, may you believe and receive everything you need is available in this one amazing week. May The Lord have everything He needs this week as well; may The Lord have you!

Let us pray: Jesus, today I wonder what I have to offer. Am I needed? Am I needed by you? Thank you for your grace alone. I praise you and I give you all glory, laud and honor for giving me all I need. I need this one amazing week. I need your mercy. I need your unconditional love. I need the cross. I need the tomb. I need to be saved. I need Jesus. I need The Savior, my Savior. I need you. In your name, I pray to the only One I need. Amen.
